One of the most important things I’ve learned working in the medical industry is good hygiene. Keeping your hands clean limits the amount of germs you’re transmitting to yourself or to others. I travel a lot by public transport, so I touch a lot of handles, buttons, doors etc. Therefore, I always like to keep a hand sanitizer at hand. Merci Handy is a new brand in The Netherlands that offers pocket sized hand sanitizers, available in different scents which I’m going to show you today.
Hand Sanitizers are not very popular in The Netherlands, which I find strange since hygiene products like this should always be present everywhere in the world. They’re so convenient when there’s no water and soap available, especially when traveling. The hand sanitizers available do not give much options for scents but now, Merci Handy gives us a lot of options, having seven different scents available. The Merci Handy Hand Sanitizers come in a plastic, squeezable tube and contains 30 mL of product.
The Merci Handy Hand Sanitizers scents are Cherie Cherry, Flower Power, New Wave, Coco Rico, Oh my Lemon, Lollipop and Black Vanilla. The names already describe the type of scents. They also have their own colors, which doesn’t transfer when you apply this on your hands. The packaging looks so fun and happy. My favorite scents are Coco Rico and Cherie Cherry. The scents are all very subtle so you can only smell them during application and if you hold your hands close to your nose.
The Merci Handy Hand Sanitizers have a gel type formula, which melts by the warmth of your hands. There are tiny blue spheres inside the sanitizers, which disappear along with the gel when rubbed in your hands. I have tried to google what these spheres actually are, but I can’t find it anywhere! Some say that these are to activate the scents, others say that these contain the anti-bacterial ingredients. Either way, they’re fun to look at and to squish! The sanitizer does not leave my hands feeling dry, it is supposed to have moisturizing properties but I don’t really feel a difference like I do with a hand cream.
I really like the Merci Handy Hand Sanitizers however, they taste horribly! I know that you aren’t supposed to get this in your mouth, but usually use these sanitizers when I’m eating finger foods like nachos and lick my fingers off. I never had this problem with any other brands hand sanitizers. These taste extremely bitter so keep them that in mind when using these.
The Merci Handy Hand Sanitizers are available for €2,99 Euro at AliceJo.com and at the Ici Paris XL stores.
