I’m dreaming of.. The Body Shop. For this years Holiday Season, The Body Shop has teamed up with the charity organisation Plan International to help girls in Brazil and Indonesia, supporting these young girls with knowledge, education and tools that help to unlock their dreams. The money made from your holiday purchases to the brand will go towards the campaign to make everything possible.
Like every year, the brand has created a beautiful Holiday Season 2019 Collection with many amazing gift options. I’m going to show you a selection of those products in this The Body Shop Holiday 2019 Gift Guide.
The three The Body Shop Seasonal Scents of this year are Juicy Pear, Rich Plum and Warm Vanilla. Several products are available in these scents, such as Body Butters, Body Scrubs and Shower Gels. The scents are described as follows:
Juicy Pear – A fresh, fruity and juicy pear fragrance enriched with Pear Extract from Italy.
Rich Plum – A fresh, fruity-floral plum fragrance enriched with Plum Extract from Turkey.
Warm Vanilla – a sweet, creamy and indulgent vanilla fragrance enriched with with Vanilla Extract from Madagascar.
Looking for a gift that contains all three seasonal scents? The Body Shop Festive Body Butter Trio (€12,00 Euro/3x 50 mL) is a set containing mini body butters of all three Seasonal scents. Normally, a single 50 mL jar costs €6 Euro each, so you’re basically getting one for free in this set! There are also Festive Sacks (€12,00 Euro each) available in the three scents, containing a 250 mL Shower Gel, 50 mL Body Butter, 30 mL Hand Cream and a 50 mL Body Scrub. My personal favorite of these scents is Warm Vanilla.
Aside from gift sets that contain Seasonal scents, there are plenty of other gift sets with scents of their permanent collection, such as the The Body Shop The Rocket Gift Set (€18,00 Euro). Like every year, the packaging fits perfectly with the charity’s theme, a rocket shaped tin box, displaying a female Santa flying to the stars and beyond. This set contains two Shower Gels/Creams (60 mL each), two Hand Creams (30 mL each) and two Bath Bubble/Bombs (28 gr each) in the scents Coconut and Strawberry. The total value of this set is €22,00 Euro.
There are plenty more holiday gift sets containing lines from the permanent collection in different price ranges, such as the Soothing Almond Milk & Honey Premium Collection set (€38,00 Euro), ideal for those with dry and sensitive skin. This set is my personal favorite pick of all the gift sets, containing four products of the Almond Milk & Honey line, enriched with Community Trade Almond Milk from Spain and Community Trade Honey from Ethiopia. These products are a 250 mL Shower Cream, a 200 mL Body Butter, a 250 mL Cream Scrub, a 30 mL Hand Cream and a Shower Puff. The total value of this set is €48,00 Euro.
This set is the Middle-sized gift option, but there’s also the Festive Picks (€22,00 Euro) and the Ultimate Collection (€52,00 Euro) gift set options, available in this line but also other lines from the permanent collection, such as British Rose, Moringa, Coconut and many more.
There are also gift set options for make-up lovers available. The Calming Camomile Gentle Cleanse Kit (€25,00 Euro), containing products from the Camomile line enriched with Camomile Extract from England. The products are a 250 mL Gentle Eye Make-up Remover, a 90 mL Sumptuous Cleansing Butter and a Muslin Cloth. These products are suitable for sensitive skin and contact lens wearers to easily remove (waterproof) make-up. The total value of this set is €31,00 Euro.
Did you know that The Body Shop also has scented home products such fragrance oils, candles and diffusers available? I didn’t! These products new to the brand and are also great to give as a gift. For example, the Salted Caramel & Vanilla Reed Diffuser (€18,00 Euro) is a perfect gift to those who love sweet gourmand scents, with a fragrance of Caramel Seasalt, Praline and Vanilla Extract.
As you can see, there are plenty of gift options at The Body Shop for everyone. I personally love to purchase gifts from the brand during this time of year. Not only are the gift sets beautiful with a great value, you’re also helping a great cause.
