NARS Cosmetics PR Launch Event in The Netherlands

The wait is almost over! In just a few more weeks, NARS Cosmetics will finally launch in The Netherlands at The Bijenkorf. I was invited to the NARS Cosmetics PR Launch Event, where we received some info about the brand from the NARS representatives themselves and had some time to check out the products. I’m going give you an impression of this event in today’s post.

At the NARS Cosmetics PR Launch Event, a selection of influencers and press was invited.  I really got the feeling that the event was very exclusive and I’m still so thankful, honored and excited to be part of those people. Like I’ve mentioned in my previous post, I’ve been a fan of the brand for many years so being there has been mind-blowing.

During the event, we were presented with information about the founder of the brand, François Nars, how it started and his aesthetics for the brand. François Nars is truly an amazing artist and photographer with an eye for elegance and is able to capture a character beautifully with his way of applying make-up.

We of course also received information regarding the launch of the brand, which will be Exclusively at the Bijenkorf. I’m going to give a short overview at the end of the post regarding the launch.

Every brand has their own way of make-up application. During the event, we were able to see two signature NARS looks, which are the Smokey Eye Look with a Natural Lip and the Natural Eyelook with a Bold Lip. I really loved this part of the event and  the models looked gorgeous. I’m definitely going to take the application in consideration when reviewing their products in the future. You can check out more details about the application on my Snapchat video down below.

After the presentations, we were led to a room where we could check and try all their products. Of course, my favorite part was the lip product section. I already own a few NARS Audacious Lipsticks and I love them. I also can already tell that the new Powermatte Lip Pigments are beautiful, which you will see for yourself in a future review.

The brand will have a huge variety of products available in stores. I’m not sure if this is their whole range but it’s at least a lot, from lip products, to eyeshadows, face products, nail lacquers and of course, their iconic cheek products and many, many other things.

After the event, I also received an amazing goodiebag, that contained the NARS Cosmetics Larger Than Life Long-wear Eyeliner in Via Veneto, the Dual-intensityy Eyeshadow in Callisto, the Audacious Mascara in Black Moon, the Bronzing Powder in Laguna and the Yachiyo Kabiki Brush in 1985.

Aside from the goodiebag, I’ve also received some PR Mail, the new book François Nars, which is a photo-biography of François Nars and four shades of the new Powermatte Lip Pigments.

I really hope that you have a bit of an impression of the brand after this post. I’m definitely going to review the products that I’ve received in the future, of course starting with the Powermatte Lip Pigments because from all the products that NARS Cosmetics offers, I think these ones are my favorite.
