The Artis Oval Brushes are toothbrush-shaped brushes that are very popular at the moment. You see them popping up more and more on social media like Instagram. These brushes are however, very expensive. The Original Artis Oval Brushes are $355 USD for a set of 10. I find that way too expensive but I do felt curious to try them out. Instead, I bought a set of 10 Oval Brushes Dupes on Ebay for only €15 Euro in total. I have created a First Impressions Video to demonstrate these brushes and let you know what I think of them. You can check out the video down below.
I have to apologize about the video quality and my hair. It was hot and filmed an hour of footage in total, and you can gradually see stuff getting stuck in my hair without me noticing at all. I had to shorten the video a lot and still have 20 minutes of footage but this is as short as I can make it without losing details. So grab a drink and enjoy! I will definitely try to improve my video skills every time I get in front of the camera and upload a video.
Like I mentioned in the video, the bigger Oval Brushes are very nice to use, you can see that blending is a breeze using these brushes, but you don’t have any control to do small details when using them. As for the smaller brushes, I will probably use only one or two to contour my nose, the rest I still need to find a good application for so let me know if you have any ideas!
I purchased my 10 Oval Brushes Dupes for about 15 Euro through this Ebay Store. There are multiple items in the advertisement. In the drop down list, choose “10 PCS Foundation Brush” for these brushes. The price is listed in Canadian Dollars. Converted to Euro, it’s between €14-15 Euro. The price is including shipping to the Netherlands. Let me know if you have any further questions in the comments down below.
Are you curious or have you ever tried these type of brushes already?
p.s. I will be posting more articles than usual because I have so many things to show you that can’t wait due to release dates, so be sure to check out my blog or social media for updates.
