Huge Liquid Lipstick Haul!

As my regular readers already know, I’m a giant liquid lipstick hoarder fan. I really love the matte finish of these lipsticks and the long-lasting properties, because ain’t nobody got time for re-applying lipstick all the time. There are so many different brands nowadays who offer liquid lipsticks. With so many choices, I kind of went all-out and purchased 15 30 41 liquid lipsticks in the last 2-3 months from several brands. …whoops I guess? So for this post, I’m happy to show you my huge Liquid Lipstick Haul.

I’ve purchased these liquid lipsticks from several places and also 2nd hand from other girls. Some liquid lipsticks from brands I was already familiar with, like the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks and the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks but a lot of them are completely new to me.

I’ve purchased three NYX Lip Lingerie liquid lipsticks in the shades Teddy, Embellishment and Pushup at Douglas.nl. These shades were already available for some time in the US but they are only recently available in the Netherlands so I never tried them before. I really love the soft and dusty-ness of the shades in this collection and I will definitely be reviewing these shades very soon.

I’ve also purchased three Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip liquid lipsticks in the shades Trap, Teeny Tiny and Limbo. These lipsticks aren’t directly available through the Colourpop website. I’ve gotten these by a group order with girls who have friend/family in the US who are able to ship these lipsticks to the Netherlands. Since Colourpop.com doesn’t ship directly to the Netherlands, I will not review these lipsticks until international shipping is available. I can say that these formula of these lipsticks are definitely not my favorite because they are very dry and flaky, but they are at least affordable compared to other liquid lipsticks from other brands and come in a wide range of shades.

I’ve heard from several Youtubers that the Dose of Colors liquid lipsticks have one of the best formulas around. I saw that these lipsticks were available at Beautybay.com so I purchased the shades Berry Me 2 and Truffle. I might get Berry Me to compare it with the one I have but I want to see if I like the formula first.

The Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick formula is one of my personal favorites. When I saw that Stila has released new shades, I knew I had to have a few of them and purchased the shades Firenze and Ricco at Sephora.com. I’m really obsessed with both of these shades.

I really wanted to try out theBalm Meet Matt(e) Hughes Liquid Lipsticks. The brand is recently available at Douglas.nl but some of the shades were out of stock for quite some time. When I received an email notification that the shade Charming was available again, I immediately purchased it. I really am impressed by the formula so I will definitely be checking out more of these in the future. The scent is extremely minty.

Speaking of liquid lipsticks that have a very minty scent, I was also curious about the tarte tarteist lip paints. I only purchased on shade at Sephora.com, which is Fomo. Not sure what to think about this formula yet. I have to give this more chances but I can at least say that this will never be one of my favorite formulas. The shade is very pretty though!

In one of the Facebook groups, I saw swatches of some amazing duochrome liquid lipsticks of the Indie brand Impulse Cosmetics. I never heard of this Indie brand before but I was sold as soon as I saw that they sell sample sized of their products. It is much more affordable and so convenient to try a small amount, especially with daring shades like these which I won’t be wearing very often anyways. I purchased the Duochrome Matte Lip Lacquers in the shades Hypnosis, Superstition, Charisma and Centerfold. I also have the shade Prodigy but I lost it somewhere, I blame the cats. I also have gotten a full-sized Matte Lip Lacquer in Sugar Daddy, a much more wearable shade. The amount of liquid lipsticks are getting bigger! I purchased five Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Liquid Lipsticks 2nd hand from another girl. I immediately fell in love with the shades and the formula, so I purchased four other shades from Beautybay.com, making a total of nine shades. Two of them, shades 1995 and Everything Nice are new to Gerard Cosmetics and I will be placing a review of these shades next week. The other shades I have are Cher (latest obsession!), Iced Mocha, Ruby Slippers, Gravity, Ecstasy, Ballet Slipper and Immortal.

Now for the mother lode, I purchased fourteen shades Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks  at JeffreeStarCosmetics.com, LashAddict.nl and Voluminous.nl. Some of the shades like Androgyny sell out like hotcakes, so that’s why I had to purchase all these shades at several places. I really love everything about the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks so I’m kind of trying to collecting them all at the moment (gotta catch’em all!).

Let’s start with the top row first. I’ve gotten Dominatrix, Posh Spice, Celebrity Skin, Androgyny, Masochist, Redrum and Anna Nicole. I of course already had Androgyny and I really needed a backup, since I wear this shade non-stop. Anna Nicole was actually sent to me by accident instead of another shade, but the lovely JS customers service let me keep this one and sent the other shade that I ordered afterwards.

The bottom row consist of more unique shades. These shades are Mistletoe, Dirty Money, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Blue Velvet, Abused, Weirdo and Drug Lord. I really want to do more daring looks using these liquid lipsticks and try to use them in different ways like  eyeliner. I would wear Weirdo just like this though because black lipsticks are awesome.

These were all my new liquid lipstick shades. I’m especially happy with the new Jeffree Star, Stila and Gerard Cosmetics liquid lipsticks.
