Estée Lauder Pure Color Love Lipstick Review

There are no rules in Love. The Estée Lauder Pure Color Love Lipsticks are described as daring, vibrant, striking and sublime, available in four, trending finishes. Every lipstick of the collection is supposed to be long comfortable, super smooth and non-drying to the lips. For today’s post, I’m going to review and swatch a selection of these lipsticks.

The Estée Lauder Pure Color Love Lipsticks come in a silver tube with a transparent cap, holding 3,5 grams of product. Every shade has a different color on the top of the cap with a similar color as the lipstick. The tube itself has a nice weight but the cap feels a bit cheap, it does look very unique though!

The lipstick bullet has a slanted top on both sides. There’s not a small tip at the end of the bullet, I could use the flat tip to follow the lines of my lips so it took some practice but I liked the shape eventually.

The Pure Color Love Lipsticks are packed Pomegranate, Mango and Açai Power Oils to help the lips feel smooth, soft and moisturized. Like previously mentioned, the lipsticks come in four finishes: Ultra Matte, Shimmer Pearl, Cooled Chrome and Edgy Creme. I’ve received three shades, which are Juiced Up (Ultra Matte), Burning Love (Ultra Matte) and Luna Orchid (Cooled Chrome).

The Ultra Matte shades are described as bold, vibrantly rich and dramatic. I definitely can agree with that statement. The shades are very opaque, creamy and slide easily onto the skin. They have a super delicious cupcake scent. It is one of the best scents I’ve ever smelled in a lipstick.

The Cooled Chrome shades are described as taking shine to the extreme with a high-gleam, sparkling effect. This to me is a more sheer but buildable product packed with glitter. This product also has the cupcake scent but is less strong, smelling more like a “lipstick” with a subtle scent.

The Estée Lauder Pure Color Love Lipstick in Luna Orchid has a Mauve shade with an Cooled Chrome finish.

The Estée Lauder Pure Color Love Lipsticks apply evenly, feel creamy, comfortable and look beautiful. I love how bold the Ultra Matte shades look. They of course transfer since they’re normal lipsticks but the are still very long-lasting and feel great.

I’m also really loving the Cooled Chrome finish. Luna Orchid is a gorgeous shade and the glitter makes it look super juicy and unique. I can’t feel the glitter on my lips either so it’s very comfortable. Since this formula is more sheer, it isn’t as long lasting as the other shades but is easy to re-apply.

I really love these lipsticks because of how comfortable they are, the scent and the beautiful finishes. I would highly suggest to check out the different shades and finishes yourself in stores.
