Hi everyone. I have another and final review (for now haha) of the Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks. Kat von D is cruelty-free make-up brand, exclusively sold at Sephora. For this week, I’m going to show you swatches of the colorful shades Outlaw, BauHau5 and Susperia. You can check out previous review of the shades Lovesick, Mother and Berlin here, and Bow N Arrow, Lolita and Vampira here.
Again, since I’ve already have written a lot of details about the packaging and tube in the previous post, I won’t write everything over again. I’m pasting what I have written before because I don’t actually see why I would have to write the same thing again in another way (plus I’m too lazy for that). For even more details, check out the previous post. The KvD Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks come in a beautiful slim tube and contains 6,6 mL product. The tube is mostly transparant so that you can see the liquid lipstick. The tube also has some black/silver details with the KvD logo and Rose/Flower artwork. I have a miniature version of Outlaw. The Liquid Lipstick has a regular doe foot applicator. I love these kinds of applicators since it is much smaller compared to a regular lipstick, so you can apply the product much more easily and with more precision.
Here are the swatches from left to right: Outlaw, BauHau5 and Susperia. All the Liquid Lipsticks are very pigmented and try to a completely matte finish in about 60 seconds. The formula is slightly thicker compared to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks but are more matte. The drying time is enough to carefully apply these to your lips.
Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Outlaw
Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Outlaw is Brick Red Lipstick. It seems that this red shade does not have an orange or blue undertone so in my opinion, this is a true red lipstick. The formula of this liquid lipstick is a bit different compared to the other shades that I own. This lipstick stays a bit shiny and tacky, making it less matte but its lasting power is still fine on my lips. Just be careful not too rub your lips together as much, since it will stick together and get patchy.
Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in BauHau5
Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in BauHau5 is Deep Raspberry Lipstick. Together with Lolita, this is one of my all-time favorite shades. It is such an amazingly gorgeous and fun shade. It is very slightly muted thus more wearable compared to other bright pink shades, it’s just amazeballs. If you would have to pick one shade, I would highly recommend this one. It does apply slightly patchy but it’s not very noticeable.
Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Susperia
Kat von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Susperia is bright lavender lipstick. This is one of the newest additions to the KvD Everlasting Liquid Lipstick line. This is cool toned, bold and unique shade. It is such a fun color to wear. If you like MAC Heroine, you will definitely like Susperia. It’s like a more wearable version of that. This shade also applies a bit patchy but this also does not bother me and is not very noticeable.
All the lipsticks mentioned above stay on like a pro. They are not called Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks for nothing. These lipsticks do not transfer and if you don’t eat any greasy food, it will stay put all day without needing to re-apply. Because of complete matte finish of these lipsticks, they are very drying. You can especially see on the lip swatches how matte and dry they are. I personally don’t like to use these lipsticks for two days in a row. You will definitely feel these lipsticks during the day when you wear them, I don’t mind since I’m already used to the feeling, but if you already have dry/chapped lips, I wouldn’t recommend using these (or any) liquid lipsticks. Before applying, I would suggest to scrub your lips and apply some lipbalm before doing your make-up.
Which shade do you like best?
