A face primer is essential as a base to prime your skin for foundation and makes the foundation last even longer. One of my favorite primers is the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water, which I’m going to review for you today.
The Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water comes in a clear tube with 116 ml of product. The primer is silicone, alcohol and oil free so this is ideal for everyone who doesn’t like that silicone or oily feeling that a lot of other primers have and suitable for any skin type. The Smashbox Photofinish Primer Water is infused with electrolytes to hydrate the skin for hours and revitalize complexion to boost radiance.
You can use the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water by holding the spray 20-25 cm away from your face and mist evenly. You can apply primer after applying skincare and before applying foundation.
I love the application of this primer. The mist that comes out of the spray is very fine and scattered. It is much finer compared to the MAC Fix+ sprays. The primer does have a perfume in its ingredient list so if you’re sensitive to that, the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer might not be something for you. The scent is very subtle, to me it sells a bit like green tea.
The Smashbox Photo Finish Primer is one of my favorite primers because it makes my skin feel great and makes my make-up last longer. Most important, I use a lot of layers of make-up so a thin layer of this primer also helps with my make-up feeling more lightweight. The Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water is available for €33,50 Euro at selected Douglas stores and on the Douglas website.
