Stila is my favorite brand when it comes to liquid lipsticks and has launched an awesome liquid lipstick set for the holidays called Stila Stay all Day, Sparkle all Night. This set contains a mix of existing and limited edition shades. Not only do you get five of their Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks, the set is also accompanied by Stila‘s new Glitterati Lip Top Coat. I’m going to show you swatches of all the shades in this set.
The Stila Stay all Day, Sparkle all Night Set contains five deluxe sized Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks. Each deluxe sized liquid lipstick contains 1.5 mL of product, a fullsize has 3 mL. The Glitterati Lip Top Coat in this set is also deluxe sized and contains 1.2 mL of product. The shades included in this set are Fresco, Baci, Patina, Bacca, Rubino (liquid lipsticks) and Transcent (top coat).
The deluxe sized Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks have a transparent tube with gold details and a champagne gold, matte handle. The Glitterati Lip Top Coat has a gradient from the gold handle coming down to the tube, but still is transparant on the bottom so that you can see the shade. The doe foot applicator is flatter than usual, feels soft and is extremely flexible. I personally prefer a more stiffer applicator. A fullsized Stila Liquid Lipstick has the same type of applicator, only with a longer wand.
Here are all the swatches of the shades in the Stila Stay all Day, Sparkle all Night Set. All Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks have a creamy formula, but still apply a thin layer. They feel nourishing and even hydrating for a liquid lipstick. Each lipstick is scented with delicious buttery vanilla bean like fragrance. All the lipsticks in this set are opaque, only Rubino looks slightly patchy in the swatch. The shades dry to a matte, transfer and smudge proof finish.
The Glitterati Lip Top Coat in Transcend comes in a transparent, very watery liquid. This is of course not meant to be fully opaque but there is a lot of glitter in it. The top coat has no scent. It’s difficult to see in picture but the texture of the Glitterati Lip Top Coat is really strange. Because it’s in such a watery base, all glitter settles down so make sure to shake the tube for a few times before applying.
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Fresco
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Fresco is described as a mid-toned Dusty Rose shade. Love this shade. On me, it looks like a mauve nude shade and I’m always falling for shades like this. It looks gorgeous, applies even and stays on all day without any problems. I think this is one of the Limited Edition shades only available in this set, because I can’t find the fullsize version on the Stila website. It might release in the future though, since the set of last year also contained Limited Edition shades which were released afterwards to be permanent.
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Baci
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Baci is described as a Nude Pink shade. This is a really cool-toned shade with hints of grey. I wish I was a bit lighter because I really love how this shade looks on lighter skin tones. It looks a bit dead on me, but I’m still digging the shade. I already own a fullsize version of this shade, so it’s permanent. Again, easy to apply and longlasting.
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina is described as a Dusty Rose shade. This is one of my favorite shades of all time. I already own a fullsize version and a deluxe size from the previous holiday set. The shade description is perfect, because it does look like a dusty, pink rose shade on me. I can’t get enough of this shade and after trying so many other liquid lipsticks, I still often gravitate towards this one. It’s easy to apply, feels great on the lips and stays on all day.
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Bacca
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Bacca is described as a Raspberry shade. Another shade that I really like, it’s so feminine, bold and wearable at the same time. It’s a great alternative for a red lip that would probably suit many skintones. It’s a permanent shade that is like all the previous shades, easy to apply, even and long-lasting.
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Rubino
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Rubino is described as a Beet Red shade. This is probably a shade that can look different on anyone. In my swatch, it looks more red but on my lips, it looks more like a berry shade. It also doesn’t apply patchy at all on my lips. I don’t really need so describe how it behaves because it’s the same as the rest of the lipsticks, easy and long-lasting.
Stila Glitterati Lip Top Coat in Transcend
The new Stila Glitterati Lip Top Coat in Transcend is described as a Multi-colour sparkle. I’ve applied this top coat over Rubino. On my arm swatch, I could see different shades of glitter, mostly pink and silver. Over Rubino, blue glitter suddenly pops out, which I didn’t see at all with my arm swatch. This is a real transformer, probably during in all kinds of different glitter shades depending on what you put on top. I didn’t try this by itself because it’s in a watery base. I don’t think it would look nice by itself. I don’t really feel the glitter due to the liquid lipstick base. I really love how this top coat give a completely new look to the lipstick. I havent seen any Glitterati Lip Top Coats available in stores yet so not sure if this shade will be available outside this set.
I’m completely in awe about the Stila Stay all Day, Sparkle all Night Set. All lipsticks are beautiful, feel amazing and are long lasting. You have to touch up after eating but not after drinking. Touch-ups are also no problem. I can’t even pick a favorite shade in this set. I have tried many new liquid lipsticks of other brands the last year, but Stila remains my number one.
The Limited Edition Stila Stay all Day, Sparkle all Night Set is available for €36.70 at BeautyBay.com.
