The Body Shop Face Mist Range Review

The Body Shop Face Mist

The Body Shop is launching five brand new, multi-functional Face Mists. These Face Mists not only hydrate and nourish the skin, they all have their own fragrance and skin-beneficial properties for different skin needs. They’re also 100% Vegan and Make-up Friendly. For today, I’m going to show and review the complete The Body Shop Face Mist range.

The The Body Shop Mint Mattifying Face Mist reduces shine and mattifies the skin. This Face Mist is enriched with Mint from Nicaragua, Kaolin Powder from England and Seaweed Extract from Ireland.

I’m usually not a minty type of person, but this one really smells amazing! This Face Mist smells minty, the scent is very beautiful and natural. It also has a subtle minty feeling so it is very refreshing. Kaolin Powder is the ingredient that mattifies the skin and it makes the solution look cloudy and also will settle to the bottom, so it is important to shake this Face Mist well before applying. I don’t really notice the mattifying effect though, but I do wear a lot of dewy products. Either way, I really like the The Body Shop Mint Mattifying Face Mist because it feels nice and refreshing!

The The Body Shop Coco Calming Face Mist soothes, calms and comforts dry and sensitive skin. This Face Mist is enriched with refreshing and natural Coconut Water, Aloe Vera and Bisabolol, an Essential Oil found in Chamomile.

Coconut scents are usually my favorite however, this one smells a bit artificial, which is a bummer is it does contain natural coconut water. The spray is really fine so it feels very soothing and calming on my skin, I’m just bummed that the scent itself doesn’t smell natural.

The The Body Shop Mandarin Energising Face Mist revives and awakens dull skin. This Face Mist is enriched with Caffeine and extracts of Mandarin, Camu-camu Berry, Maca Root Carrot.

I can sense soms hints of mandarin in the fragrance of this Face Mist. To me, it smells slightly fruity and sweet, but I personally don’t find the scent very “energising”. It does make my skin look nice and dewy while also feeling soft and hydrating.

The The Body Shop Strawberry Smoothing Face Mist smooths and softens skin for a more refined skin texture. This Face Mist is enriched with Strawberry and Guava from Brazil.

I love this scent, it reminds me of a strawberry ice cream! This Face Mist feels soft but I don’t really notice a smoothing effect, also because my skin doesn’t have a lot of texture. I can feel this product slightly tightening my skin so I can notice how it would smooth out skin texture.

The The Body Shop Rose Dewy Glow Face Mist is used for a dewy skin and a healthy-looking glow. This Face Mist is enriched with Raspberry Essence, Cherry Water from France and  community-trade Rose Essence from England.

This scent smells rosy with a hint of fruits. The spray is quite heavy so it disperses a lot of product on the skin. The Face Mist does make my skin look nice and dewy, but I have to say that all the Face Mists have the same effect.

I really like the The Body Shop Face Mist range. I’m someone who loves anything scented so these are right up in my alley. All the scents are pleasant, some I prefer more than others ofcourse. Unfortunately, I don’t notice the extra benefits that each individual Face Mist is supposed to have. I just like to use them because each Face Mist makes my skin feel hydrated, soft and dewy looking like a make-up finishing spray, even the Mint Mattifying version! My favorite picks are the Mint Mattifying Face Mist and the Rosy Dewy Glow Face Mist.

The The Body Shop Face Mistwill become available for €8,00 Euro/60 mL each, starting from May 2018 at TheBodyShop.nl and at the The Body Shop Stores.

Which of the The Body Shop Face Mists would you choose?
