FOTD Birthday Look 2017

Hey everyone, it’s my Birthday today! I’m 28 years old now. I should become wiser each year but I feel far too busy to be able to learn anything. I seriously can’t believe how fast time goes when you’re an adult. I’m just always busy with work and blogging without having time to develop. I’m just mindlessly doing stuff until the day ends, at least that’s how I feel. Anyone else has that too?  Anyways, I wanted to write a quick post about my Birthday make-up look!

I didn’t do anything special this year since it’s Monday. I just felt like using make-up that I know looks good on me and something that I feel amazing in. Kind of a signature look that I like to do, which is just a glowy, golden bronzed look.

For my face, I used the NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer as a base. Then, I mixed the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation in #6 Medium (which is a present that I bought for myself for my Birthday) and the Cover FX  Custom Enhancer Drops in Moonlight for some extra glow. For bronzer, I used the Clinique Contour Stick and Benefit Hoola. For concealer and highlight, I used the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in Medium-Light Neutral and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator in So Hollywood. To finish, I used the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder to set the undereye area, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder as a finishing powder all over the face, Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Aria on my lips and set all the powders in place using MAC Prep + Prime Fix+.

A warm, golden brown eyeshadow look is my favorite type of eyelook. I have so many eyeshadow palettes that can make this type of look but for this time, I chose the Juvia’s Nubian Eyeshadow Palette. For eyebrows, I always use a combination of the Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Brow Pencil, Precisely, My Brow Pencil and Ka-Brow in #6. I of course also had to use my favorite lashes, which are the Annytude Lashes in Silly.

I took these pictures yesterday but I’m probably going to do the same thing on my birthday, might change the lip to something more brown toned though. April 2nd is actually my boyfriends birthday! We are one year and one day apart from each other in age. I never like to celebrate my birthday that much, because I don’t like to be the center of attention (real introvert here). So for today, I’m just going to work and treat my colleagues with some home made cakes. Oh and there’s the Season 7 Finale of The Walking Dead, best Birthday gift EVER.
