The The Body Shop Nicaraguan Coffee Intense Awakening Mask is recommended for skin that looks dull, uneven and rough. It is described to help reduce the signs of fatigue, leaving the skin feel awakened, cleared of impurities and looks more radiant and pores look refined. The mask is enriched with Coffee and Community Trade Sesame Seed Oil from Nicaragua, Community Trade Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter from Ghana and organic Community Trade Cane Sugar from Paraguay.

To use the The Body Shop Nicaraguan Coffee Intense Awakening Mask, apply a layer on cleansed skin and leave for 5-10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water and use a cloth in gentle circular motions to exfoliate. The mask is recommended to be used 2-3 times per week.
The mask feels creamy and slightly sticky with a jelly-like consistency. I can sense the warmth coming off the mask. It’s very subtle and pleasant, I would probably not even notice the warming effect if I wouldn’t be paying attention to it. To me, the mask straight up smells like “Haagsche Hopjes”, a Dutch hard candy that tastes like coffee and caramel. As I’m a coffee lover, I find it so delicious however, I can imagine if you don’t like the smell of coffee, you would not like this mask because the scent is definitely present the entire time.
The mask feels comfortable and hydrating sitting on my skin but after ten minutes, it did feel a bit itchy. The itchy feeling does go away after washing my face without any redness so it isn’t an allergic reaction. Rinsing off the mask was easy using warm water and a cloth. A cloth is absolutely needed to remove all the coffee particles.
After use, my skin feels really invigorated, plump, hydrated and smooth. I have a dry skin type which mostly looks dull and this mask definitely makes my skin look more energized. I can tell that my skin has a soft glow after using the mask. I really enjoy using the The Body Shop Nicaraguan Coffee Intense Awakening Mask and I can even say that this is one of my favorite masks at the moment. I would definitely recommend to try it out yourself, especially if you have the same problems with dry and dull skin like I do.
