Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro Review

Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro are liquid lipsticks with a creamy formula, infused with concentrated pigments to give a long-lasting depth of color while leaving lips plumped, soft and comfortable with a velvet matte finish. For today’s post, I’m going to swatch and review a selection of pink hues of the Lip Maestro liquid lipsticks.

I’ve received three shades in 512 Drama Nude, 519 Pink and 517 Maharaja. The product comes in a transparent, oval shaped plastic tube with a red top combined with the Giorgio Armani logo in silver, containing 6.5 mL of product. Some of the tubes have an additional word displayed, because these shades are special edition launches. The wand has an elongated doe foot applicator, which bends when putting pressure on it. The tube feels sturdy and I really like the wand, the tip is nicely narrow to easily apply the product.

Here are watches of 512 Drama Nude, 519 Pink and 517 Maharaja. The product feels very soft, creamy and do not have a scent. All of them swatch evenly and even though there is an intense color pay-off, they are not fully opaque but can be build up if needed.

Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro in 512 Drama Nude

512 Drama Nude is a light, nude pink shade. I think this is a beautiful and happy Spring color. This shade can look patchy when applied thick so I would suggest to leave a thin layer.

Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro in 519 Pink

519 Pink is a playful and radiant pink shade. This is a nicely bright and colorful shade, perfect for Summer. This shade is very easy to apply evenly.

Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro in 517 Maharajah

517 Maharajah is a hot pink shade with blue micro shimmers. I really love this one because of the blue micro shimmers! The effect so subtle but clear to see up close, a beautiful and bright shade! This product was also really easy to apply evenly.

I think that the Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro liquid lipsticks are very unique in texture. They remind me a lot of the NYX Professional Makeup Soft Matte Lip Creams, but much better in both quality and comfort. These feel so creamy and buttery while blurring the texture of the lips, and very comfortable and nourishing to wear. The formula does not dry down which means they transfer a lot, which makes them more sheer over time but are still long lasting.
