The L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint is a hybrid of a lipstick and lipgloss, give the intensely pigmented appearance of a lipstick, a super glossy finish of a lipgloss. There are 18 different shades from nudes to bright and trendy colors. I’m going to review the L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints in the shades Blushing, Seduce and Daring.
The L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints comes in a squeezable tube. It contains 12 mL of product. The tube itself has the same color as the shade of the Lip Paint and has black and gold details. I haven’t had any problems with flaking of the printed details on the packaging.
The tip is just a flat, slanted surface with a hole in the middle where the product comes out. L.A. Girl calls it a precision tip, but I find it difficult to apply the product immediately from the applicator. I rather use a brush or my fingers. I used my fingers for all the lipswatches below.
Here are the swatches from left to right: Blushing, Seduce and Daring. You can really see what kinds of shades I’m attracted to huh? The L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints are very pigmented and super glossy. Because of the intense pigmentation, these Lip Paints are very staining. Due to the addition of Peppermint oil, these Lip Paints smell like Peppermint. I only notice the smell during application but it fades after a few minutes of wear.
L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint in Blushing
L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint in Blushing has a muted rosy pink shade. It is a very beautiful shade which probably will suits a lot of different skintones.
L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint in Seduce
L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint in Seduce has a muted purple toned pink berry shade. I love colors like this. This is a fun, bold but still very wearable shade.
L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint in Daring
L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint in Daring has a grape purple shade. The name Daring is perfect for this shade, a beautiful color for fall.
All the L.A. Glazed Lip Paints are indeed very pigmented and super glossy. Because of the peppermint oil, they feel very fresh and minty on the lips. All of them stay on the lips for about 2 hours before the gloss fades away. They also bleed a bit on the edges after about 2-3 hours, so I’d suggest to remove and re-apply after that time.
The L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints ara available in 18 different shades for €5,49 Euro at Boozyshop.nl
I usually don’t wear glosses because of the short longevity compared to lipsticks. How about you?
