Lancôme Summer Collection 2018 – Teint Idole Ultra Wear Stick Review

Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Stick Review

Lancôme is launching three vibrant blushes in stick form for Summer 2018 called the Teint Idole Ultra Wear Sticks. These blushes are supposed to have a creamy and durable texture with a concentrated pigment, creating a great color effect for Summer ready cheeks. In today’s post, I’m going to review two out of three Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Stick shades, Rosy Flush and Vibrant Coral.

The Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Sticks come in their standard packaging, which is a cardboard box with a glossy metallic, silver finish. I’m not 100% sure but I think these are the first Teint Idole Ultra Wear Stick blushes that were launched by the brand, the other stick products with the same name that I could find were foundations.

The Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Sticks are held in a twistable plastic tube, containing 9 grams of product each. The tubes have a glossy black finish with champagne gold details. The base has a nice and sturdy weight but it is still quite light, which makes them perfect traveling.

Here are swatches for the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Stick shades Rosy Fush and Vibrant Coral. There is another shade available in the collection, which is Red Flush and is like the name already describes, a red shade. The blushes glide like butter onto the skin, both swatch evenly but the interesting thing is, that they feel powdery to the touch. What I don’t like about them is how they smell. They both smell strongly like crayons but fortunately, you only have to apply them on the cheek area so they’re not close to the nose.

In the picture above, you can see the first picture of me with full make-up without blush, the second using the shade Rosy Flush and the last picture using the shade Vibrant Coral. I applied the products by swiping the stick on my cheek area and diffusing the edges using my finger. Using this method, it didn’t disturb my base at all. I could also apply more to increase the intensity of the color.

Rosy Flush already gave a beautiful, healthy tint on the first application. The shade looks very fresh on my skintone. Vibrant Coral needed a bit stronger application because of my skintone, but I actually prefer this shade because I don’t prefer blush colors. This shade looks super natural on me and gives my cheeks a nice dimension, which is especially noticeable compared to the no blush picture.

I think if you’re a fan of blushes, that you would love the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Sticks. These blushes look beautifully natural on the skin, apply very sparingly, are build-able and did not disturb any of the other make-up applied. I think these are also great to use during the Summer heat with some basic make-up.

The Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Stick blushes are available for a suggested retail price of €46,00 Euro each at several (web)stores like Douglas and De Bijenkorf.

Do you like a more natural looking blush or do you prefer a more vibrant cheek?

Vibrant Coral is mijn favoriet van de twee. Die staat erg mooi bij je huid!
