NARS Cosmetics NARSissist Wanted I Cheek Palette Review

NARS Cosmetics NARSissist WANTED I Cheek Palette

NARS Cosmetics is launching the Limited Edition NARSissist WANTED I Cheek Palette for Spring 2018. This palette is one of the two cheek palettes coming out this Spring, which includes a highlighter shade and blushes with matte, satin and shimmer finishes that have a sheer-to buildable formula. For today, I’m going to review and show you all the details of this palette.

The NARSissist WANTED I Cheek Palette is made of sturdy plastic with silver and black details, definitely having some weight and feels luxurious. The palette shows a close up pixelated image of a cheek with the NARS logo layered on top. I love that little detail of the image in front, especially because the NARSissist WANTED Eyeshadow Palette (review herehas the same thing, only with a pixalated image of  an eye! The back of the box shows the ingredients list and a small example of the the colors. The back of the palette shows the names of all the shades.

Opening the NARSissist WANTED I Cheek Palette reveals a mirror, one highlighter shade and five blush shades, containing 3.9 gr of product in each pan. There are five Limited Edition shades and one Re-released shade inside this palette. The WANTED I palette contains range of shades that are more suitabe for light to medium skintones, while WANTED II has shades recommended for tan to deep skintones.

Here’s the NARSissist WANTED I Cheek Palette swatched from left to right, top row to bottom row. The shades are described as follows:

Unlimited (Limited Edition) –  Shimmering Pale Pink
Buzzed (Limited Edition) – Matte Coral
Notorious (Limited Edition) – Matte Lavender
Kingpin (Limited Edition) – Matte Rose
Bumpy Ride (Re-release) – Shimmering Candy Pink
Crave (Limited Edition) – Matte Bright Coral

All the powders feel super soft and glide on easily onto the skin without looking patchy. NARS Cosmetics is of course known for their blushes and I think that this palette has a nice variety of different shades.

Here is a before (left) and after (right) using the NARSissist WANTED I Cheek Palette. I used the shade Kingpin on my cheekbones, Bumpy Ride on the apples of my cheek and Unlimited as a highlighter on the tops of my cheekbones, cupids bow, bridge of the nose and as an inner corner highlight on my eyes.

I absolutely love the effect that the products inside the NARSissist WANTED I Cheek Palette give. As you could see from the before/after pictures, the blushes and highlighter really gave my face more dimension and make my skin look healthy and radiant. I love how the blushes look very natural and easily blend into on my skin. The Unlimited highlighter is very bright and gives a beautiful dewy glow. I’ve also used all the other shades (which you might see from time to time on my Instagram page) and I really adore all of them. The only way that the palette would be even better is if they would have replaced a blush shade with a bronzer shade to be able to create a full face look using the palette.

NARS Cosmetics blushes are definitely staples and absolute must haves if you’re a fan of make-up. These blushes apply beautifully and are buildable from a subtle hint to a bold punch of color. I already own a few NARS Cosmetics blushes and these have never let me down.

I find the NARSissist WANTED I Cheek Palette amazing, from packaging to the products inside. If you’re a fan of blushes, especially matte ones, this palette will not let you down. I also think that the palettes have an amaing value, since a single, fullsize blush costs €31,50 Euro. I’m even contemplating into getting the WANTED II palette for my tanned skintone in the Summer.

The NARSissist WANTED I Cheek Palette will be available starting from the 1st of April 2018 for €49,00 Euro at DeBijenkorf.nl and at the NARS counters at De Bijenkorf AmsterdamUtrecht and Rotterdam.

Are you a fan of wearing blushes? Have you tried one of the NARS Cosmetics Blushes yet?
