Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Eyeshadow Palette Review

Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Eyeshadow Palette Review

A smoking hot palette in a compact, travel-friendly form. The Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Eyeshadow Palette is the newest addition to their Naked line. Like it’s big sister Naked Heat (review here), this eyeshadow palette consists of warm-toned eyeshadows to create simple every looks to smoldering smokey eyes. I’m going to review and swatch the Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Eyeshadow Palette in today’s post.

The Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Eyeshadow Palette comes in a cardboard box that shows an image of the eyeshadow shades featured inside the palette. The palette itself is made of hard and sturdy plastic with a warm, copper shade, showing an image of burning roses in the background. I really like that this little compact has an image instead of a plain background like we have normally seen with the Naked Basics palettes.

Opening the Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Eyeshadow Palette reveals a mirror on the inside of the lid and six eyeshadow shades, five Matte shades and one Demi-Matte shade. Each pan has the same, rectangular size, each holding 1.3 grams of product.

The six shades inside the Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Eyeshadow Palette are described as follows:

INHALE (cream demi-matte)
VIBRATE (soft nude matte)
HOT SPELL (terra-cotta matte)
WILD THING (scorched-orange matte)
HEIST (rich cayenne matte)
STRIKE (rich reddish-brown matte)

The eyeshadows look pigmented, swatch evenly and are feeling soft, except for STRIKE, which feels slightly gritty but still soft.

With the Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Eyeshadow Palette, I’ve created a warm, smoke eyelook using the shades HOT SPELL (transition shade)HEIST (crease, lower lid upper part of the lid)STRIKE (upper part of the lid and lower lashline)VIBRATE (browbone highlight) and INHALE (inner corner highlight). So I basically used all the shades except or WILD THING.

For this look, I’m also using the Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Fuel 2.0, one of the seven new Naked Heat Vice Lipsticks, nude lipstick shades that compliment the Naked Heat and Naked Petite Heat Eyeshadow shades perfectly.

I really like the Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Eyeshadow Palette. It’s super easy to use so definitely a good palette for beginners as well! All the eyeshadows blend like a dream on the eyes and transition beautifully together. The shades compliment each other perfectly, but can also be used individually to create a simple look.

The Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Eyeshadow Palette is available for €32,00 Euro at IciParisXL.nl, HudsonsBay.nl and selected Ici Paris XL and Hudson’s Bay stores.
