The shades inside the mini pack are from left to right: Orange You a Rock Star?V-I-Pink Pas.sesPositive Vibes Only and Dance Party ‘Teal Dawn. You basically get 2/3rd of the entire collection with this mini pack. The only shades that are missing are Music is my Muse (blue shade) and PUMP Up the Volume (yellow shade).

For the swatches below, I’ve used a peel-off base before applying the nail polish to make swatching a bit easier. No top coat has been applied to show you the finish of the nail polishes.

OPI Orange You a Rock Star?

OPI Orange You a Rock Star? is described as an Orange shade. I would personally describe this as a Coral Pink shade, being slightly more pink in real life compared to the picture. The nail polish has a tick consistency, applies streaky and is sheer. I needed three thin coats for full opacity.

OPI V-I-Pink Passes

OPI V-I-Pink Passes is described as an Fuchsia shade. The nail polish has a normal, thin consistency but applies a bit sheer and dries quickly, making it difficult to apply even. I needed three coats but I think you can make it a two coater if you’re careful and quick with application.

OPI Positive Vibes Only

OPI Positive Vibes Only is described as a Purple shade. This shade is similar to the previous one, only being a little bit sheerer so three coats are absolutely needed for full opacity.

OPI Dance Party ‘Teal Dawn

OPI Dance Party ‘Teal Dawn is described as a Teal shade. It has a normal, thin consistency and is sheer. It does apply most even compared to the other shades but it still needs three coats for full opacity.

I have a love/hate relationship when it comes to neon shades. Neons are bold and awesome but you have to know how to work with them. Most of the neons like these ones are sheer and apply streaky so you either need three coats for full opacity or use a white base. Also, all the shades have a velvet-like finish so I would also suggest to use a glossy top coat to make these pop.

Overall, the shades of the OPI Neon Color Cube behave like typical neon nail polishes. They’re beautiful but do need a little love and attention. Thankfully, all of them dry quite quickly so for me, it wasn’t a problem to apply three coats. My favorite shade is Orange You a Rock Star?.

The Limited Edition OPI Neon Color Cube mini pack is available for €20,50 Euro (Suggested Retail Pricen). The collection is available at Douglas.nl and selected Douglas Stores. You can also check the OPI Sales Locator for other store locations.
