The Body Shop Mask Sampler Set – Holidays 2017

The Body Shop has launched many playful gift sets full of goodies, including the Mask Sampler Set. This set contains several sachets of their different face masks to try out, making it a perfect gift for someone who loves face masks. I’m going to tell you more about the The Body Shop Mask Sampler Set in this post.

The The Body Shop Mask Sampler Set contains three sachets of the Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Mask, three Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask and three British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask, making it nine sachets in total  (5 mL each). The set is perfect to find your favorite mask type. The masks can be used individually, but is also perfect for multi-masking, applying each mask on a desired surface of the face. You also get a very cute Bunny Headband to keep your hair away from your face during your relaxing face mask time.

The The Body Shop Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Mask is a 100% Vegan face mask enriched with Matcha Green Tea from Japan, Dandelion Extract and Community Trade Aloe Vera from Mexico. This face mask is supposed to deeply purify, exfoliate and cleanse the skin of build-up of pollutants and everyday impurities. The mask feels nice and creamy and smells amazingly like Green Tea.

The The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask is a 100% Vegan mud-textured exfoliating mask enriched with Bamboo Charcoal from the Himalayan foothills, Community Trade Tea Tree Oil from Kenya and Green Tea from Japan. This face mask is supposed to deeply cleanse and purify the skin by cleaning out clogged pores and release impurities and toxins for a healthy looking, youthful glow. The mask feels nice and creamy and smells amazingly like Green Tea. There are pieces of leaves in this mask and I can definitely smell the Tea Tree Oil. I can also feel the exfoliating texture when removing the mask from my skin.

The The Body Shop British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask is a 100% Vegan face mask enriched with Rose Petals and Essence of Hand-picked Roses from Britain, Rosehip Oil from Chile and Community Trade Aloe Vera from Mexico. This face mask is supposed to nourish and hydrate the skin by moisturizing, soothing and toning. It has a refreshing gel texture and definitely feels hydrating. The face mask has a subtle rose scent.

I used the different face masks of the The Body Shop Mask Sampler Set by Multimasking, trying out the face masks on different parts of my face for combating issues where needed. I used the The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask on my nose and chin area, which are parts that tend to have the most clogged pores that cause acne. I used the Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Mask on the areas around my nose, since I tend to have bigger pores there without acne. I used the The Body Shop British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask on the rest of my face since I have a dry skin type, especially on my cheek area.

Targeting these areas using the different masks give optimal results for my skins needs. I really enjoy the The Body Shop Mask Sampler Set and by trying it, I found that both the Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Mask and The Body Shop British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask were my favorites.
