TONYMOLY Master Lab Sheet Masks Review

TONYMOLY presents their new Master Lab mask line, consisting of eight different sheet masks with advanced technology, each having own skin beneficial properties like Intensive Soothing, Moisturizing and Hydrating. I’m going to show and review a selection of the new TONYMOLY Master Lab Sheet Masks on my dry skin type in today’s post.

The TONYMOLY Master Lab Sheet Masks are made of natural cellulose which assures an optimal absorption of the products. It is a very thin mask so it is sensitive to tearing when folding out. Each mask was nicely saturated but not to the point where it was dripping or running down when applied. It stays on nicely but I find the holes for the mouth and eyes to be a little bit too small for my face. Each mask is recommended to leave on for 10 to 20 minutes per session.

TONYMOLY Master Lab Centella Asiatica Sheet Mask

The TONYMOLY Master Lab Centella Asiatica Sheet Mask has a skin soothing and comforting effect for sensitive skin caused by external stress. The featured ingredient, Centella Asiatica is a plant rich in vitamins, anti-oxidants and is supposed to have calming and anti-aging properties.

The mask has a subtle fresh scent. When I was wearing the mask, I noticed a tingling sensation on my cheeks, which are sensitive but it didn’t feel irritating. After removing the mask, my skin feels more calm, hydrated and smooth. It left a tacky (but not sticky) feeling on my skin.

TONYMOLY Master Lab Collagen Sheet Mask

The TONYMOLY Master Lab Collagen Sheet Mask has a skin moisturizing and firming effect for a sagging skin due to lacking elasticity. The featured ingredient, Collagen is a protein known for its anti-aging properties, improving elasticity to the skin for a more youthful and healthy appearance.

The mask feels super soft and has a subtle creamy scent. I also noticed a tingly feeling on my cheeks with this mask but it was almost not noticeable. It feels very relaxing during application and after removing the mask, my skin feels slightly tacky (again, not sticky), smooth, super moisturized and soft. I don’t think I have problems with sagging skin so I can’t notice the effect of improved elasticity, but either way, I do notice how amazingly moisturized my skin is, which is why I love it so much. It is hands-down my favorite mask of the bunch.

TONYMOLY Master Lab Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask

The TONYMOLY Master Lab Hyaloronic Acid Mask has a skin hydrating effect for a dry skin that lacks moisture. The featured ingredient, Hyaluronic Acid is known for being able to bind and hold moisture to the skin, reducing fine lines and improve hydration.

Like the other masks, I looked at the full the ingredients list from the official TONYMOLY.us website however, I think there’s a mistake in there because the listing of this ingredients list is exactly the same as the Snail Mucin version and looks completely different than what is listed on the packaging (which is the same for the other two masks). I would suggest to look at the picture that I took and zoom in on the list if you’re interested.

The mask basically felt the same as the Centella Asiatica version. It also has a fresh scent and gave a tingling sensation on my cheeks,. After removing the mask, my skin feels more calm, hydrated and smooth. It left a tacky (but not sticky) feeling on my skin.

Looking at the description of the TONYMOLY Master Lab Sheet Masks mentioned in this post, I would think that the Hyaluronic Acid version would suit best for my dry skin type however, I really enjoyed the Collagen version far more than the other two masks, which were also nice but had the same effect on my skin. Overall, I think these are good sheet masks with a nice selection so if you are already familiar with what kind of ingredient will help for your skin type, I would suggest to try out one of these masks that has that ingredient featured.
